Paraffin wax for freestanding candles

Our PW2 paraffin wax is formulated from materials whose refining history is fully traceable. The color of the wax is matt white. It is finely smooth in structure. We offer the wax offered here in an easy-to-dose lozenge form. In addition, it contains no solvent residues. This wax requires no additives and has excellent stability with no experienced shelf life issues. Old or incomplete candles can be melted down again and the wax reused.

  • High Quality - We care a lot about quality and want to offer our customers the best possible products, including this paraffin wax.
  • Usage - The wax can be poured into any free standing candle shape including pillar candles and candles in silicone molds.
  • fragrance oil - PW2 can be used with almost any fragrance in concentrations up to 10-12%.
  • dyes - Most colorants will work: powder, liquid, chips, blocks, etc. Pigments will not dissolve.
  • wicks -  Cotton wicks, wax wicks, flat wicks and round wicks, which are very well suited, are recommended for pouring candles.
  • Melting Point - The dropping point of the wax is at 54-57°C. At a room temperature of 21-25°C, the pouring temperature of 67-69 °C should achieve an excellent result.
  • Manufacturing -  Does not contain or come into contact with any animal or GMO products at the stage of manufacture and is vegan and not tested on animals.
  • Country of origin - Great Britain

Pour temperatures can vary depending on the type and size of mold, the fragrance and dye used, and the effects desired. Fragrance should be added and mixed just before pouring or at higher temperatures if desired. If you are having trouble with your pouring temperature, try a lower or higher temperature in 10°C increments. Consider pouring into preheated molds for an extra glossy finish. When using PW2, larger candles such as 7-10cm molds require two pours. Make the first pour at 65ºC by filling the mold to the brim and allowing the candle to cool until it is still warm and has a solidified center containing no liquid. When the top of the mold (bottom of the candle) has "coated" leaving a cavity inside, poke two holes in the candle near the wick and pour a second time at 60ºC.
