Stearic wax with a crystallized effect

Stearin is derived from vegetable oils. The composition is made from a relatively high percentage of stearic acid certainly. The addition of stearin (10 - 20%) gives the paraffin candle a nicer surface and the burning properties are improved. Pure stearin candles have a crystalline structure and burn with a beautiful flame. Due to its relatively simple composition - compared to paraffin and beeswax - stearin has a very narrow melting range without a plastic-sticky phase.

Usage - The wax can be in any form of Plastic molds and containers are cast, including glasses, cans and teacups.
fragrance oil - Stearin Wax can be used with almost any fragrance in concentrations up to 8-10%.
Dyes - Wax soluble dyes can also be incorporated into the mixture.
wicks - Cotton wicks, wooden wicks, wax wicks, flat wicks and round wicks are recommended for casting candles and are very suitable.
Melting point - The dropping point of the wax is between 57 -61 °C . At a room temperature of 21-25°C, the pouring temperature of 69-74°C should achieve an excellent result.
Manufacturing - Does not contain or come into contact with any animal products at the stage of manufacture and is vegan and not tested on animals.

Tip : It is best to use the next larger wick size for 100% stearin candles.

Anwendungsempfehlungen

- Wärme deine Gießformen leicht vor, bevor du das Wachs einfüllst.
- Achte auf die Temperaturen.
- Lasse die Kerze anschließend mindestens 12–24 Stunden aushärten, bevor du sie entformst
- Bei härteren Wachsen empfiehlt es sich, eine nächstgrößere Dochtgröße zu verwenden.
